The latest twist in that dog mauling case in San Francisco. According to ABCNews.com, Knoller and Noel wrote several letters and "The documents also include a letter, described as being written by either Knoller or Noel, discussing sexual activity between the couple and the male dog, Bane.
Investigators were looking into the possibility that sexual abuse of the animals may have spurred the attack on Whipple, a 33-year-old lacrosse coach.
Neither Knoller nor Noel has been charged with sexual assault on the animals."
An article in the San Francisco Chronicle noted that a Judge released to warrants to search the cell of a pair of inmates of a Pelican Bay Prison due to some things turned up in the search of Knoller and Noel's apartment. "The warrant also says prosecutors were investigating whether the couple was having sex with dogs. Prosecutors declined comment on whether bestiality is relevant to the Whipple investigation. However, sex acts with animals are misdemeanors in California.
The search warrant seeks any materials or correspondence describing sexual acts by Noel or Knoller that involve dogs.''
Matier and Ross, also of the San Francisco Chronicle were able to speak with Robert Noel. "And what do Noel and Knoller say about the photos?
"I'm not going to confirm it or deny it," Noel told us earlier this week.
Noel then said, "There used to be a time when guy-on-guy or woman-on-woman relationships were looked at as unnatural acts. What concern is it to anybody if there is or isn't a personal relationship?""
The questions are these:
If the sex between the dogs and Noel and Knoller really did happen, do you think it had anything to do with the attack?
Do you think dogs can be sexually traumatized?
