Little, there are many, many threads with vibe recommendations here. If you care to google things like 'site:forum.literotica.com vibe' and look through some of the results, you'll find a lot of good reviews.

I doubt anything surpasses the Hitachi Magic Wand with blue vinyl attachments in terms of versatility, durability, power and overall value - it's provided generations of women with decades of incredibly intense orgasms and is a hell of a lot of fun for men, too.

However, there are lots of other fine toys on the market. My second favorite is the Rabbit Pearl that takes 3 C batteries (which allow all features to function well simultaneously - that's not the case with many AA battery models). It's probably the only jelly toy I'd recommend. It's inexpensive (see below) and super for most who enjoy simultaneous clit stimulation and penetration. A lot of people like bullets/eggs, too, though I find them to be lacking in both focus and intensity.

I'd suggest taking a look at eBay's Mature Audiences section (under "Everything Else"), see what looks good, and then reading reviews on those. The advantage of eBay is so many good deals can be had that you can pick up several for the price of one (or less) at most retailers. Then you can see what you like and won't be out a lot if you don't love something or it breaks after some use (they often do, though I've had $12 rabbits last for 4+ years). Just watch shipping, try to buy from a seller that has good feedback, lots of transactions and offers combined shipping on multiple purchases.

Apparently you're not the only one who burnt through one. Two of the SIX reviewers said theirs died in about a month, after only 5 or so uses.

At $60 a pop, that's a mighty costly toy per use.

I didn't do that much looking but THIS Water Dancer on Amazon is $12 than MyPleasure.com AND includes a rabbit attachment, which is a great option for ladies who might need more focused stimulation. Ebay and the like probably has even better prices.

Admittedly, I've not tried this toy, but I'm fairly confident anything that runs on one AA battery wouldn't cut it for me. Without the rabbit attachment, there's no chance it'd get me close to orgasm.

I went with a friend shopping the other day. She ended up getting one called Lucid Dream. It's made by Doc Johnson. I was amazed at how quite it was and it is waterproof also. It had great power also. They come in lots of styles and shapes. Just my thoughts. Good Luck.

We found them for 20 to 30 dollars here. I didn't think that was to bad. I will ask her how she likes it next time I talk to her for you.

I googled 'Doc Johnson Lucid Dream' and found a variety of them for $10-20. The #14, for instance is $15 here, on drugstore.com

My concern would be the reviews complaining of it not actually being waterproof, several toys burning out after a few months and having a bad smell. It's also interesting that I can't find what they're made of - some sites say it's PVC or some mystery Doc Johnson patented material, whereas others say it's jelly.

For $15, it might be worth a try if you're prepared to use condoms on it (not strictly necessary for vaginal use on you, but very wise with chemically and porous materials that can't be cleaned; absolutely necessary if you're going to use it for anal or share it during swinging).

Well, it was an amazing gift, but I would have rather had him here. Yes, there is no decreased sensitivity. It might also do the gspot thing like Mr G describes, I just haven't tried it yet. Its also supposed to work on guys. I haven't figured out a few of the attachments. It feels good on your face too for sinus headaches.

The Hitachi Magic Wand was rated just behind the Eroscillator, so I imagine it is quite nice.

I was reading the fine print on many of the battery operated vibes and noticed most have warranties of 30-90 days and are classified as novelties. the Eroscillator has a 1 year warranty but I have seen reviews where its lasted many years.
