I judge how good a vacation is by how long I cry when I'm on my way home. What can i say, I'm a sensitve, (yet straight! LOL), person.

If I cry saying goodbye at the airport, then I had a good time. If I'm still crying on the plane, then it was DAMN GOOD.

However the BEST vacation I had was last year when I went back home to Central America for my little sisters 15th Años party, (the equivilant of sweet sixteen in the U.S.). I hadn't seen my family in 6 years by that time, except when my Father visited me a few months earlier. I was still crying when the plane touched down in Houston 2 ½ hours later.

My best vacation was a 10 day road trip with my son, 8 years ago. He was 11 & we went to Philmont Scout Ranch, just the two of us. I got lost in the boonies of New Mexico, it rained most of the time we were there, our tent leaked & the transmission in my car went kaput 30 minutes from home. We had a blast listening to all of my favorite music from the 80's & spending hours just talking. He had just finished grade school & I knew that once he hit middle school, our road trips might be limited. Once kids hit that certain age, it isn't very cool to hang out with parents. It is one of my favorite memories of our time together.

My dream vacation would be to go to Scotland, Ireland & Wales. I want to meet the family who hosted Justin when he went to Scotland for his 14th birthday. They were so nice to him & I would like to say thank you in person. I have always wanted to go to Ireland & Wales, just to see it.

Acid I took on a cross country flight. Whew! That shit fucked me up!

A week at Grand Cayman. We decided to go there because a travel agent friend said that aside from playing tennis, golf (we don't),or snorkeling, there was nothing to do there. She was right. We splurged and stayed at the Hyatt and spent an entire week vegging out.

Lavy, if I had one place left to travel it would definitely be Italy. Everyone I know who has been said the same things about it I've never been there but I know I'd love it.

My boyfriend, his best frind and myself drove down to florida to pick up my boyfriends little sister. 50 hours of driving. We where bored to death once we reached florida, but the drive there and back was fun.
