she blew my nose and then she blew my mind
- rolling stones, honky-tonk woman

the opening line is not bad either: i met a gin-soaked, barroom queen in memphis.

"All lies and jests,
Still a man hears what he wants to hear
And disregards the rest."

--Simon & Garfunkel, "The Boxer"

Dressed up for each other
And the boys do the boogie-woogie

As I was saying to Kippies, for me it's either "I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die" by Johnny Cash or "two lovers missing the tranquillity of solitude" by The Jam.

Jim Morrison, The Doors

Best opening line:

-Saul Williams, List Of Demands

Aint goindown, no more to the well
Sometimes it feels like, Im going to hell
Sometimes Im knocking, on your front door
But I dont have nothing, to sell no more~

My man Van Morrison
