That blissful period of the day when the wife is either asleep or in her office upstairs, or out of the hose when I can relax and be myself without worrying about being under the wife's censorship. That used to be a couple of hours in the morning, but her sleep pattern has changed, and, at the moment, I am lucky to get coffee made before she is around.

Basically, I am censoring my Autistic behaviors, which becomes exhausting quite quickly. She knows I am on the spectrum, but she does not switch off to it and tends to focus on the downside, aka the quirks, rather than the upside, that I am loyal and don't play games.
