I usually come back into the Forum section and try to look up their name in the search tool...then send a PM. Never had much luck or response from the "send author a message" option?

It has become more than evident that the moderators for the stories are either too lazy or incompetent to be aware of their site. Having talked with numerous authors it would appear the only way they are able to get feedback is if they have email addresses on their profile.
The authors blame the readers for lack of feedback, but in fact, it is the failing of the contact page.
Would be nice if someone would fix the problem. I have sent several notices to the "dark side", but have heard nothing back.

So from me - you that author bi-stories, as well as all venues are doing a great job. Keep it up...

As one who writes stories here, the comments are appreciated. I've been able to receive an email notice for messages, so it seems to work. All authors have the option to turn off the comment function, and that may be the case here. Have you tried leaving your feedback in the comments section at the end of the story? In general we can see; the number of views, the number of comments, the number of favorites and the average scoring. Another thought, you may be able to look the user name up here on the forum and send a PM. Anyway, CuriousMe...thanks for being one of the rare ones who leave comments ~ :rose:

As authors on this site, we have the option to allow or disallow feedback. Not many utilize this option, but some do. I, myself, have turned off anonymous feedback, primarily because I found the kind of feedback I was getting from readers who refused to give their "names" weren't giving me anything that helped further my writing.

So, it is possible that the particular author you speak of has turned off feedback of any kind. Doesn't happen often, but it's a personal choice...

Just keep reading, Keep trying to send feedback to the authors when you can, and if you can't, move on to the next story and hopefully that author will allow you to tell them what you think.

This issue of feedback comes up quite often in the Authors Forum. The abusive anonymous comments tend to cluster around certain subject matter and in certain categories.
