Hello, trying to find a story from a few years ago which the author tied up earlier this year or late last year with a few more chapters.
From memory it is about two best friends both their fathers are in the military, they live next to each other. He enlists and ends up injured (maybe goes missing before that?) and comes back home but is blinded. She looks after him at a familiy cabin for a little while.
The new chapters then have them working through his injury, they get engaged, pregnant then married.
