Best Female Authors

I love reading stories written by women. What are some of the favs for more graphic/hardcore stories written by female authors? Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

I personally think she writes some of the best sex scenes on the site, but everyone has their own preferences. She writes it pretty rough usually, and the story might not grip you (though I like it!) But the sex is smokin'.

I suggest Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings for excellent female writing; her stories GAL YOUNG UN and THE PARDON deal with some significant sexual issues. Also I recommend her novel GOLDEN APPLES for the same reason.

Stacy Richter - mainstream short story collections, "My Date With Satan" on Scribner, and "Twin Study" on a no-name small publisher. Her quirky POV and wise-ass writing style make up for her lack of hardcore sex scenes. She can put more yearning into one paragraph than anything I've ever seen on LIT.
