Adam had just gotten to his new house and had just finished unpacking... He was just going out to his car and brought out the final box with all his kitchen supplies in it... As he turned around he saw a woman standing infront of him... he was shocked at first but quickly got over it... he put the box down...

"Hi. I'm Joyce. Since you are just moving in why not come over to my place and have dinner? then maybe I can give you a hand"

"Sure that'd be great... I'm almost done unpacking and haven't eaten in a while... so dinner it is."

"I live rigtht iover there- I have a casserole in the oven - come whenever you are ready"

I went home and arranged some flowers for the set table, and when the doorbell rang there was a bright young man, all cleaned up and shaved. He ws a lot youngert than me but so what? there were things I could probably teach him.

I offerred him beer or wine and poured myself a glass of chardonney

Adam walked into the house and looked around... It was a nice place... he took the offer for a beer and opened it up and began to drink it...

We sat and chatted and got acquainted. I askedc him where he had lived and whether he had any family. He asked me about m,ine, and I revealed that I was divorced and got the house in the settlement, but there were no kids and I didn t know how long I would stay there

Eventually we made it to the table and i dished up our dinners and served him some salad. I was glad to have someone to talk to away from work for a change
