Being Tickled...

Most ticklish people laugh when tickled but yet we also are saying things like: No more, please stop! I'm not sure if it is pleasurable to be tickled or not!

What made me think of this is: one of my cats seems to LOVE to be tickled! I assume that's what's happening when she comes to me to have her ears scratched and pulled and that little back legs gets twitching. She paws me to continue until she's worn out by it. LOL. I looked it up online and found out I was tickling her. Being that I don't like it that much myself, I thought I'd ask the question to see how others experience tickling!

She just lays down and purrs away after a good tickle session!

I am *super* ticklish... in a ton of places like my neck, sides, thighs, and many more places.
It can be fun some times to be tickled as long as the tickler doesn't over do it and they actually know how to tickle... I have found some people don't get the difference between tickling and jabbing you in the side with their fingers.

After several seconds tickling becomes painful for me. The funny thing is that I loved to tickle my son when he was little. At 28 he's still ticklish.

Well, if you explain it causes you as much pain as that would cause them, I don't think they'd forget in a hurry. And if they did then you can give them a swift kick to even up the odds before you dump them

Well...it is quite captivating! Great work! But then your sig area is always really good! Well thanks poppy ....but really the credit should go to my hubby, he's my photographer and it's him that makes me look so good

I am really kinda surprised there aren't more people in the "I'm not ticklish" category! But I guess people at Lit may have a stronger response to most kinds of physical stimulations...

I sorta know what you mean DGO about the "painfulness". I wouldn't have used that word to describe it...but I DO think that is the exact word TO describe how I feel if I'm tickled too long and hard. It is painful and it doesn't take that long to get there.

But initially sometimes and if done lightly, it can be kinda fun...like a little pokey tickle (stop), a kiss and a hug...little pokey tickle (stop)...repeat.

Like LM...there are certain ways of light fingertip stroking that tickle that I love...like on the inside of the forearm or over my breasts and sides very gently...*smiles*....those kinds of tickles are nice.

It's the "hardcore" side and feet tickling that become "painful".
