Hi guys and girls,

Yesterday, I talked to this woman on my Yahoo! Messenger, and we talked about, well, sex. Anyway, I told her I was bisexual, and a virgin. She made the usual comment, which is:

"So, how do you know you are bi?"

Well, I'm attracted to men and women, duh!

Do you all get sick that you have to have sex with a person to prove your sexuality?

By the way, I'm proud that I am a virgin. That means, whenever I have sex, I will be really excited.

Yes, it's annoying. No one would ever dare to tell a straight virgin that they're just curious, would they?

Boy do i get this one! My stepmother's favorite thing to throw in my face when we argue over how much i see my girlfriend is "i don't see how you know you're a lesbian, you've never had a boyfriend!" it's really just annoying

first off i may have never had a boyfriend but i don't hate men or anything... if i found one i liked i'd have no trouble dating him *shrug* i'm fond of calling myself a bi-curious lesbian lol

I understand what you mean completely. Some people understand where I'm coming from and some people are just ignorant. Don't let them get to you, you know what you want and that's the bottom line. At least you're not wondering what you want!

Rather than explain too much since I am kinky as well as gay, I just tell people I am queer and let them figure the rest out.

YES!!!!!!

And another frequent question is "if you're bi you shouldnt be a virgin cuz its easier"

*argh!*

Heh,

Never got that one. Well, not yet.

Comfort is the beginning

Comic Sans MS]xxx[/FONT] My experience has been that someone who is FIRST, comfortable with the same sex physically, is much more likely to continue involvement w/ the same sex after that first time. Some only have the curiousness w/out the comfort. W/out the comfort the experience is not fulfilling & is usually not repeated.

When i was younger i was bi and a virgin. I was very much attracted to girls, in fact for a while that was all i was interested in but i realized i couldn't give up my boys. but i never had sex. Just very attracted to both genders. So, i know what you mean. And for a while i did think like those dumb asses and couldn't understand how a crush of mine could decide he was gay in 8th grade. well, its not that hard to figure out. Who do you bone for? lol

Oh yes, I get that all the time (or, I did, when I was still a virgin). When I first came out to my friends, I got soooo many people asking "well, if you've never been with a guy, how can you know you don't like it?"

They didn't seem to realize that it wasn't the sex that I didn't want with a male, it was the relationship part. I just wasn't attracted to males on a romantic level, but because I'd never experienced anything, no one seemed to take that seriously.

Random Thought

I'm bi, but only in a physical sense. It's an important distinction to make. Perhaps that only qualifies me as kinky, I don't know.

The way I came about the initial feelings was as a teenager, probably 17 or 18, jerking off. My mind would sometimes drift from whatever girl I was fantasizing about to a guy and it became apparent after a while that I had in interest in being with a guy. My first experience with a guy was with a couple that I rented a room from (I should probably write that as a story sometime) and it was incredible. Afterword I didn't feel anything other than what you usually do after sex.

My point is that I was just as interested in the topic before as I was after having done it. So, the fact that you have those feelings but are still a virgin to them makes them no less valid than if you've full explored them.

That's a good point. I think I'm going to have these feelings, especially at my age (27).

Also, nice to see another Missouri guy here.

Slightly different situation, but as a bisexual woman in a monogamous relationship with a man, I have been told that I can't really be bi - as I am only sleeping with a guy I'm straight! *shakes head* So adoring women and remembering pussy fondly doesn't really count I guess ;)

Something else I think I forgot to mention is that the fantasizing part is essential.

A lot of folks, and you'll meet them if you haven't already, will be into the idea while their masturbating but as soon as they "go" the idea of blowing a guy goes also. That's true of fantasies in general.

that's true. Heck, I remember a guy who was other wise straight who said that he thought about getting a blowjob from another dude.

Sometimes, people surprise you.

AMEN! I'm a bisexual virgin here too...but for me it's little easier because I'm female and girl/girl isn't quite as "taboo" as boy/boy.

People can be so ignorant sometimes.

yeah, it's kinda annoying... Im bi and virgin, and I really cant see why it is so difficult for some people to believe me.. Sometimes when you come out to someone, they may even take it as a joke if you tell them you havent had sex with the same sex.. -_- helloooo? I know what makes me excited and hot okay? :p

No Doubt

I know what you mean. I have never been with another guy in any way shape or form, but have thought about it for years, and consider myself a bi because I wouldn't be against it. But people always say that you can't be bi if you haven't had sex with another guy.
