I know it is a lost cause with some and they will not read the posts but for those who do, these are not me! These are examples of what I do for a hobby.

Because it is a hobby I am allowed to break the rules and do what I want. I was trained as a technical photographer, very strict rules on framing, exposure etc etc.

So I abandon all the rules and just enjoy myself, I photograph girls in their home or mine, never a studio, I rarely use lights, just on camera flash, no makeup other than what they happen to have on at the time.

All girls over 18 and have signed release forms.

I will add to this thread as the mood takes me. First up is Fiona who has a big rambling house barely furnished which gave me lots of opportunity to explore, here are a few of what we got up to together.

very impressive. a beautiful subject. i particularly like the photo of her laying on the deck. the shadow creates an interesting effect.

Thanks, I love shadows and mirrors and they are re-occuring themes in most of my shoots, there is a third but that will soon become apparent.

All of those are great but the shadow shot is particularly inspiring.....thank Fiona for us all

Please next time get her to kick off the crappy runners as they spoilt this pic.

Absolutely stunning...

I have to say these are alot sexier knowing that she is a 'normal' girl, who I could bump into on the street!

Light and Shade

"I'm subscribed & looking forward to viewing lots of your pics your model is wonderful.
Do you use light & shade or just flash?"

Both, the crucifixtion photo of Fiona used just the light from the skylight for instance, the bar was caused by the glass frame. This next set used just a bedside light, some with the shade on, some off. I do have studio flashes, reflectors and so on but only use them if the photo is a favour for the girl and she wants something a bit special for herself.

This is Jess, my first outing with a digital, a little thing that came free with a computer, thought I would see what it could do but it would be another five years before I invested in a serious digital, a Nikon which I loved but some bastard stole.

Anyway, Jess astonished me, she was a catholic Irish girl just off the boat, educated in a girl's only school by nuns, I thought I would be doing well if I could get her to show some cleavage. As it was... Well see for yourself.

Taken in her student digs.

What a gorgeous girl!

Blame me, I like to avoid making shots look too posed and any inappropriate clothing is done deliberately.

Hi and welcome to Lit. Under each post you'll see a button that looks like this:

.

If you hit that button, it will quote the post for you, so you don't have to copy & paste or whatever, but people know exactly who you're replying to.

There is also a multi-quote option, but take it one step at a time. ;)

Also, do these women know/care that their pics are being shown in a public forum?

Jess

Some more of Jess, like most photographers I did not take digital seriously but last year I sold my entire 35mm body kit, just got my Haselblad and a couple of Canon Digital SLRs now since they match my former lens kit.

As I stated at the start, I have full release forms, most of my subjects are wanna be models or actresses so they are more than happy to have their images public.

Very good. I saw the over 18 thing but missed the other bit.

This could be an awesome thread.

A Great set indeed but the one with her smiling hit the spot for me although I love seeing girls smile anyway.

I also like to get their nipples hard in pics it's just that little bit sexier I think.

I love photography & have had several pics published in a few countries but they are all motorsport pics. I did one shoot with a nude & racecar involving 6 rolls of film then spoke to a professional photographer who does model work & set up a shoot with the girl I'd done the shoot with & he set up shots using lighting, pose & background etc & the huge difference in the pics was huge, time & experience only improves your skills.

Fair enough.

Maybe we have crossed paths, I have done motorsports in a professional capacity and did some work for the MG Owner's Club mag, though that was a few years ago now.

I'm purely amateur just managed to get lots of great speedway cars shots, I have a great love of speedway which was my inspiration to take pics. All my pics were taken in the US, Canada & here in Australia.

Okay, and just to show she does own decent shoes too ;)

Bugga I had to go take a second look to notice the shoes

Isn't that the way all girls should do the ironing? I do like details like maybe a shirt or skirt on the board & iron in hand to make it look like she had been caught.

Don't get me wrong I'm not picking on your pics just putting ideas forward.
