Beginning of the end for AIDS?

I've read similar articles about this particular research. I've got my fingers crossed. It takes the treatment of illness in general, not just HIV, to a whole new level of technology in medicine.

I wonder if a similar type of treatment could help with keeping cancerous cells from multiplying. Wouldn't that be icing on the cake? I'm very excited about this research, and I'm eager to see what comes of it.

A cure for aids would be nice but...

"After Aids it will be__________" Paraphrase of Sandra Bullock from Demolition Man there will still be a lot of STDs out there that the public should not let their guard down in the defense of...also is it not improbable that there may be other STDs as deadly or more so waiting to surface?

I'm sure I'll be castrated for even saying this, but...

We kill AIDS, something else will come along. Same with cancer, diabetes, etc. I really think it's natures way of thinning the herd, being that we're goddamned overpopulated in many areas of the world, areas that just dont have the resources to sustain its populace. I feel for people aflicted, in fact I know people, through other people, that have such ailments, and it's truly unfortunate. But.... Nature has its ways. It'll come up with something new. Deadlier.

Shit, that was me. Didn't mean to post anonymously.

It's like my brother is on the list for a liver transplant but his doctor says by the time he needs it they will be cloning them.
