Beginner Writer looking for an Editor

I have written my second story which is about 3600 words and showed it to a friend on here that recommended that I get help from an editor. The story is either mature or erotic coupling and based on a business trip. I am a technical writer by trade and therefore my use of punctuation is basic and my descriptions and very matter of fact.

My friend says that I need an editor to work on context and I use too many run on sentences. I want to get better and would appreciate any help offered. Ideally would prefer a British editor to reduce the issues with time difference but will consider any offers

Sounds like you need a collaborator, not an editor. If the context is out of whack then you'll need help getting it straightened out. Run ons are easy.

Collaborating and editing are two different things.

I can help, but I work sixty hours a week and you'd have to go back over it for the British part of it. I'm Canadian, so it wouldn't be too hard.
