Been around the world

Thanks in part to a 25-year military career, followed by a 13-year stint as a government contractor I’ve traveled to 28 countries, 48 U.S. States, and 4 U.S. Districts and Territories. We’re booked on four cruises in the next 18-months that will add five countries to that total.

Yesterday, I flew into Utah for the 3rd time in 2023. I’m not worldly but I get around the U.S. a lot.

I'm in Utah pretty regularly. It really is beautiful, the Wasatch front might be the most beautiful setting for a city in the US.

And SLC actually has quite a food scene going on, though you don't hear about it. Not that it's "hip," but Red Iguana has some of the best Mexican I've had- their

From an old Navy retiree, Thank you for your service!

Planning to go down to Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico in about two weeks. I've never been to Mexico; I'd always been too chicken shit to try it. But when I was stuck with my Dad, I decided I wanted to take more risks and try more things like going to Mexico. Monterrey is a very historical city and seems like a fascinating place. Richest city in Mexico, the tallest building in Latin America, mountains and palaces. I'm anxious to tackle it. :)

A 20 year Air Force career allowed me to set foot in 30 countries, and hoping to add to that total in the coming years.

Flying out today not a fan of flying either kinda like the subjects in this song who were also from FL.

A year ago today I was in Jamaica. If you get the chance while there, find the pudding man. And obviously a beach

I was just doing some travelling in Europe and the UK. A little gem I came across was in Corfu, a place called La Grotta. You have to climb down a stack of steep rock stairs down the side of this cliff.

To get down to the base where there is a small bar and swimming area with a little dive board and a boat for hire. The water is crystal clear. It was magic. We snorkelled and swam and the kids jumped off the board.

Dreamy day and well worth the leg workout of the stair climb leaving. If you ever get to Corfu, head north to Paleokastritsa and see it for yourself my photos do it not do it justice.
