Bedtimes?

I was just wondering if any subs had bedtimes set by their Doms? if so when and are these flexible?

Master will either send me to bed, or will say "You will go to bed at this time..." -- although I am a bit of an insomniac -- okay more than a bit -- I get on average 2-3 hours a night (workaholic...yes bad bad!!!). But usually Master would like me in bed by 10 -- ish. Unless he's around of course.

My bedtime is set by his. He can't sleep without me there, nor does he like me to go to bed before him, so he regulates when I sleep and don't. I have a few problems with insomnia when things are heavy on my mind, but am managing that. One of the beautiful things he has done is introduce a semi-meditation for us to do jointly each night, accompanied by a soft, non-sexual stroking of each other from head to toe to take away the stress of the day. It works wonders and in no time I am ready to go to dreamland in his arms.

Wow i didn't think a lot of subs would have bedtimes. Even though my master can't be with me......yet, he has set a bedtime of 9:30 yes it is pretty early to most but with the things going on in my life it is perfect. although he hasn't been to strick about it these last 2 weeks i am sure once things settle down in my life he will go back to the 9:30 bed time.

I go to bed when she tells me to. There's no real set time. If I've not slept well the night before, or if I'm not feeling well, she'll send me to bed earlier. If she's not around to tell me, I go to bed when I choose. I don't stay up too late anyhow, since I've got to get my sleep or I'm crabby as hell.

When I was with Sir, he wouldn't necessarily set a bedtime for me, but when he went to bed, I was expected to be there next to him for whatever nightly activity he had in mind. I was also expected to watch his evening cartoons with him, too *snicker*

Now that he is not a part of my life...I sleep when I want.

I have set bedtimes for when i have to work, but when i don't work there is no set time. Of course there are other times when He wants me to go to bed, for instance if i am getting sick, He will send me to bed earlier or if i am not sleeping well and doing too much He will also send me to bed early. Mostly its because He wants me to be healthy and happy, and if left to my own devices at times i will overdo it so He helps to keep me from making myself rundown

wow Stardust i could never go to bed at midnight and be able to get up at 6am ( not saying you get up at 6 just pluging in for me)

He goes to bed around elevenish on work nights, and I come to bed with him for at least a while. I am, however, a terrible insomniac, and rather than make me sit in bed picking at the sheets and staring at the ceiling... he usually wisely just lets me get back up again once he's asleep. Generally, I stay up till around 2-4 am, but I also don't have to get up till around 9 am when the kidlet wakes up.

It preserves the peace to let me have my late nights. I'm annoying when I'm bored.

Okay, okay... sometimes I'm annoying when I'm not bored too.

ok...two part answer:

as a submissive, I have yet to have a bedtime (though between my 2 *Friends*, I am sure that will change eventually. (pout).

as an Owner, my pets DO have a set bedtime...my boy goes to bed by 1 am as he works until 11pm. My grrl goes to bed a bit earlier (Her set time is midnight..but that is negotiable during the week as she usually only works weekends). Of course since my pets are married to one another...they will tell on one another if bedtimes are not kept...so it works out well.

6 am??!! Omg, that's tooooooooo early for me!
We really love living at night and luckily we don't have to get up that early in the morning. I'm sure that if I would have to get up at 6, I would be told to go to bed much earlier...lol

Geez, I do that every night. I just can't seem to get in bed at a normal hour.

I never had a bedtime, though he did. I did get teased a bit for staying up late. I guess I'm not much on sleep - well unless we are talking naps.
