Curiously, I do not imagine either of these fictitious beings to have "animal" genitalia... in my mind/fantasy they have human parts there. And they certainly do not smell like horses or goats (especially not goats).

You know, I have seen various animals mating and I can appreciate a certain level of "hotness" in the rutting, but I have never had any desire to participate. Seen the back end of female beasties...nope, didn't do anything for me.

I don't really like much sea food and am not into fishing, but I can IMAGINE a mermaid that could be sexually enticing. I can IMAGINE a centaurette or Faun in a similar way, but they have to be more human than animal for my tastes.

Now, to be fair...I am unfair (in a good for goose vs gander sorta way) In a voyeuristic way a male non-human can be somewhat more animal as he takes a woman.

No it wouldn't. Most of the NH that I've read, the were or shape-shifter or whatever is in human form when having sex with a human. Read a few where both partners were in animal form, and a few where the were/shifter goes into a "hybrid" form.

I've always thought this, too. Non-human often riffs off the same taboo as interracial, such as werewolves aren't supposed to mate with vampires (but do), or humans aren't supposed to mate with aliens (but do). There's often a history of intolerance, etc. to overcome, which heightens the element of the forbidden. Interracial often has elements of being raw and primal, which is totally stereotyping, but stereotypes can be a hell of a lot of fun to play with in the bedroom.

Lots of erotica is about our sexual drives going where most of us would never go in real life. It's called play. Humans like to play. Heck, I dress up in leather and pretend I'm an evil alien abductress sometimes. I wear a sleek black catsuit with little cat ears and pretended to be a were-pantheress on the prowl, too. Doesn't mean I secretly wish I was evil or an alien or a panther... or an abductress, for that matter. Or that my partner wishes that. But it sure is fun!

I saw a show about a man turned on sexually by balloons. Imagine a sexually voracious balloon... could be fun. And there's some mighty fine erotica about flowers and vines.

I think of nonhuman as well, fun to write, but also a way of exploring themes a little differently. In my first were story (Exiled) I didn't involve humans at all, except peripherally. The main character was a weretiger who suddenly lost her ability to shift, and after some time, was banished (by semi-mutual agreement) from her pack in an effort to keep the pack from falling apart. So I could look at what it was like to be separated from what you've known, your family and friends, and from the other side, what it's like to force your child away even if you think it's for a good reason, etc. There was animosity between different were-animal packs, animosity (but also friendship) between witches and weres, and other things.

In my second story, there were weres and vampires and I didn't get back to humans and weres until I did The Hunted Key and All Too Human. So you don't need humans in a were story. I realize that's what most of them seem to be, but there's room for other things.

Anyway -- as for actual bestiality stories, I believe you can post them at StoriesOnline.net. At least you could last I checked, and I know they had some on there.

there's more to EROTICA than sex scenes, as we've discussed many a time.

What I mean, if you have a person who is were, and that person has sex while in human form, would the story still belog in NH? confused:

Even though the person LOOKS human for one scene, he or she ISN'T human in the rest of the scenes.

And depending on the writer, the character might have feelings about sex that relate to their non-human desires or abilities or senses, and the sex scene might really hammer on those points.

I just submitted the story about the horse that I changed to a Herculus type guy with a long six inch snake like tongue and other stuff lol I hope people like it.
