Yes it's Mother's Day...again!! Why do we have to be reminded every f****** year?? *sigh* All the money woes! All the baseball games!(mine played every year from kindergarten thru college!) All the illnesses! All the broken hearts and cuts and bruises!All the wise ass answers! All the shit shoved under the bed.."My room is clean!" All the fights about gum chewing and make up and "Goddammit- do you have to tease those bangs up 5"???"

Ahhh... but then... there's a wall of sports trophies! There's a wall of certificates for Community Service, Girl Scouts, Baseball, Straight A's! There's an album of pictures of a young girl growing up under hard circumstances and coming out of it shining, with a college degree and 5 gorgeous children!So... what the fuck!! Let's celebrate it AGAIN!! Yayyyyyyyyy!!!

And remember, Moms:

"Grandchildren are God's reward to us for not killing our children!"
