Hmm, as to turning the heat on. I still haven't turned it off, or turned it to summer. It is set for 68 degrees, and it hasn't come on much though,,,

well I woke up this morning and thought i seen my breathe and it wasnt fun sitting on the tolet either brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr wind coming in through thee open windows lol but its gotten sunny and warming up a bit
