Eva was out for a night of fun with her girls. They all had a grueling week of work at the hospital. It was Saturday night as the group walked into Bar and headed for a space towards the back. Ryan ordered a whiskey and Coke when the brunette put her order in. Once both drinks were brought over, Ryan gave the bartender his card as well. She asked about his day as he took a drink, “No,” he said, “not too bad. I just landed a big account for my company and I thought I would have a drink or two before heading home.” He took another drink. “How about you?”

Eva listened carefully, "Well congrats to you and you deserve a drink or two." Taking another sip before putting her drink down. "I am out with friends after a busy week at work. Very busy week at the hospital." she said. Looking over to see that her friends actually were occupied with some guys. That made her smile before turning her attention back to the man in front of her.

"Cheers to you landing that deal." she said holding her glass up. Eva smiled at him as why not celebrate someone's success. "May I ask what kind a deal it was?" she asked. Eva was curious and it be nice to talk with someone right now.

Ryan smiled when she congratulated him, “Thank you.” He clinked his glass against hers and took a sip. When she asked about his deal he said, “Basically, my company landed a deal to replace and maintain about $2.5 million worth of computers and other devices.”

Eva listened and found this very interesting. "Don't mind me asking what kind of company do you work for?"she asked. She took another sip as they talked, her friends had left but knew she was safe. "Sorry I find this fascinating."she said. Her phone buzzed as her husband texted her. "Excuse me."she said. Pulling her phone out and sighed, he was leaving once more for a "trip". Eva responded then put her phone away, "I apologize...now what were we talking about."

Ryan smiled, “I actually own the company...” he started to tell her about his business when her phone buzzed. He caught a glimpse of her wedding ring. It figures he thought Someone as pretty as her would already be married. She sighed and responded to the text. “Everything okay at home?” He asked.

Eva was surprised he asked about her personal life. "Oh...my husband is going on a business trip....again for the fourth time this week."she said. Taking another sip of her drink. "This is a common thing that happens a lot lately. I'm busting my ass working in an ER and he doesn't even have a meal with me...."she said.

Eva smiled from his comment and he had a point. "Why do you say that? You seem like a wonderful person. I am sure your significant other is lucky to have you."she said. Eva wasn't dumb...she had a feeling her husband was meeting another woman. However, she wanted to be sure she was set before asking for a divorce.
