i think you'd have more luck herding cats, but i'll sure as hell have fun watching. And that darlin', is why i enjoy this board. i like watching, occasionally participating, in the "lively" discussions. BTW, sneaking in an acronymn it's about time you started posting art/pics again. i don't mind doing it because i find wonderful things to share in the hours before dawn, but a different voice helps.

LOL, well have been too busy lately but have posted some I came across today.

Mr Blonde:
" Seniority and quantity mean nothing without some substantitive quality... something you've never had."

So seniority and quantity meant something yesterday but now that you know I have more posts it doesn't. And yesterday, you'd only seen my 'name a few times' but now you're familiar enough with my posts that you know I've never posted anything of quality.

No, sorry, not buying that. As attempts to cover your ass go, this was rather transparent. I'm sorry your attempt to insult me went so poorly but if you're going to dish it then get used to taking it. That's what big boys do.

"…scampering back to the General Board..."

And this is what we call wishful thinking. But keep on staring at that monitor and willing me to leave. I'm certain that gnatlike brain can summon enough power to make me only post when you grant me permission.

"…less experienced or less sophisticated posters into debating silly semantics"

Yes, anyone who debates semantics isn't as wise and brilliant as you. I bet you even believe that!

… your histrionic presence in this forum can only generate a negative result…"

The negative result being someone calling you on your "establish member" bullshit.

The net result of this worthless debacle is that: (a) you get fed a cybersnack for your uninspired troll before scampering back to the General Board; (b) it blows a dog whistle that draws our less experienced or less sophisticated posters into debating silly semantics and ignoring any substantive topics; and (c) people in skin-to-skin relationships -- the folks I wish to communicate with! -- are discouraged by poor signal-to-noise ratio and drift further and further away from this forum.

So once again, your histrionic presence in this forum can only generate a negative result and your lukewarm "retort" towards me can't cloud that up.

Your previous post to Never and this one surprised me in more ways than one Mr. Blonde.

Well maybe we should put up a poll about using PYL/pyl and let the majority decide.

Francisco.

I would be concerned that doing a poll concerning how to refer to one another in that fashion would border on censorship. Censorship by one or by many is still censorship.

Further, today's posters may vote in one fashion and a year down the road, the population will have changed and may feel differently.

I believe it is okay to have an opinion on the PYL thing and express it. Then, allow and encourage posters to post as they wish.

I don't like it, don't use it. However, posters who use it aren't invalidated or ignored by me.

I also don't take cream in my coffee! ;)

This Never vs. Mr. Blonde lyrical beef is on a Tupac and Biggie level and I'm loving it.

I wonder who'll be the first to give in?

I think a key gap in the understanding between the two sides of this debate stems people's perceptions of the purpose of the forum.

To varying degrees it can be a resource, a communication tool, a way to socialize, a chance to improve your writing, a sexual fix, an "online" fantasy world or a fucking cookbook.

And honestly, what right does any poster have to tell another what they should or should not say?

What's next, no inside jokes or hard references? No big words?

That being said, I'm not one of those assholes who's always complaining about the way people spell. There's a lot of people out there y'all, and not everyone who has a decent mind has manicured written language skills.

Rosco Rathbone:
"Qlipotic Elohim in the house!"

You remember my old title. That's rather flattering.

To be fair, I wasn't exactly cordial with him. He might not remember me but I do remember him enough to know he's been better than this in the past. I would be unhappy to think the discussion he and I are having might negatively effect any friendship you might have with him.

Ever Never, my comment was one of surprise simply because of the way he initially handled your thread as well as the outburst that came rolling out along with his irritation. i wasn't surprised by his annoyance, just the comments that followed. Mr. Blonde is, and will hopefully remain, a poster who contributes thought provoking threads to the forum. That aside, the content of his posts above certainly allowed me to understand what he wants in terms of conversing with members of our culture. It was that clarification that attributed to my surprise as well as the references to hierarchy i was obviously unaware existed.

No worries Never.

Since I am in a good mood and you are fairly new I will not kill you. But next time I think I will start by breaking your fingers.

Calling me Catalina, I swear really, I know I have to lose weight but my tits are not that big yet!!

Francisco.

oh, my bad, really sorry Francisco :( :( :( there I edited it :)

oh, I'm not trying to start a fight or anything but if anyone besides my mistress were to try and break my fingers for something so trivial then they're probably getting a nasty knife wound :( sorry

Hmmmm, have to love that man. Didn't I read somewhere that after 1-2 years of marriage the honeymoon is over and things begin to get mundane and that is life? LOL, seems things just keep getting deeper, hotter and more interesting in this household......fortunate some of us can blow such stuffy theories out of the water.

And acronyms? I am usually lost with them, but I have PYL/pyl sorted and it has decreased the posts on the board challenging people for not including someone's particular role in their post. Seems though it is just as annoying to some to be inclusive in that way as it is to others to feel excluded because their role was not referred to specifically in the long line of titles in a post. As I always say, you can't please all the people all the time so better to just be yourself.

hmm, I know being a newbie and not knowing what any of the acronyms means can make you feel excluded :)

Hmm I will have to talk with your Mistress because my fingers are aching to break some bones.

You have misspelled my name. My reputation is not what it used to be anymore. Once upon a time subs be it male or female would be very careful in how they would address the mighty unpredictable and scary Francisco. Nowadays the either call me Catalina or misspell my name.

Francisco.

Francisco,

At least no one has had the poor judgement to call you " Frannie!"

:p

Fransisco is how I always saw it spelled in my head. The other one would be pronounced "Frank Isko". Sounds like a plumber.

Is odd to me that people have problems with Amo's name especially considering one of the world's most famous cities, and in the US, is San Francisco and no-one seems to have a problem with that. Even some of my own family can't remember how to spell or pronounce it.....weird. Fortunately for me it seemed the most beautiful name in the world from the first.
