BDSM TV month?

I've been stuck watching alot of crappy TV bc it is summer (never much good tv anyway), and I'm crocheting presents and I don't care to channel surf while doing so ... I've watched alot of those mindfuck cop shows where they track down sexual devients blah blah blah blah... and every night this week they've used BDSM ... usually psychotic doms / killers.

And in this one they depicted a femdom, and she used every cliche line in the book, down to "if i offer you my services, will you promise me that this naughty male gets a good punnishment"

something along those lines.

I even flipped on the cooking network (when I get bored and there is nothing to watch and I just need something on or I'll go batty ...) they keep talking about tieing up the chickens and the cohost will make some off beat remark about bdsm...

Is it BDSM in TV month, or am I just tuning into it bc I know/do what I know/do ?

television seems to portary the majority of the bdsm worrld as sick perverts who kill or maime people for the sake of sexual gratification. seems laywers are using this as a defense more and more. hey they are into sexual games lets use the bdsm lifestyle as a negative impact on the killers life and get them off.



yes there are some who do kill in this lifestyle but not as many as they try to portay on the court shows.

actually, the good part was.. that there was a judge who wouldn't give them a search warrent to find some girl in the house in some box that he kept her in just because it was part of the lifestyle and just because it was happening, doens't mean it was against her will. A few things like that were thrown in, it was nice if you can catch the brief mentions.
