Have you ever attended a BDSM Demo? What was the one that inspired you or fascinated you the most?
My Dom and i used to go to a place that had regular sessions where they would do a demo or a talk. For me it was quite fascinating and i learned a lot. The most fascinating one was a demo on bloodplay. The Dom and sub did a whole scene with the sub in charge. It was the most electrifying and intensive scene i had ever witnessed. i don't know if i learned anything from it other than i have a lot more to study and learn about.

Yeah, I saw one on flogging and the single tail. A lecture then a demo. When it came time for the demo, they darkened the lights and had a light on the sub. He worked her with several floggers and ended with the whip. Her knees almost buckled the first time he caught her with the single tail. It was almost too fast for the eyes. You'd just see a red mark where it landed. Pretty cool.

Actually one of the coolest demos I saw was for a type of play I'm not even that crazy about. It was a waxing demo and it opened my eyes to the fact that waxing can be so much more than sitting there dripping a white taper on someone to induce pain. They got very sculptural, dumped entire novena candles on the bottom, it was really visual.

Working the convetions I've had the opportunity to see lots of demo's and workshops. My Favorite was watching Guy Baldwin doing whip dynamics. That man moves like he speaks, pure poetry. Watching him dance with a whip was awe inspiring.

This year we had Deborah Addington doing vaginal fisting, and that one ran a close second.

I hear folks like my Knife play demo's a bunch, but I ain't THAT good by far!

Actually I went to New Orleans two weeks ago to see Jay Wiseman and Midori.

Jay talked about safety and rope bondage and showed us how to tie a few knots... and then tied some women up... it was clinical and just okay... nothing spectacular...

Midori on the other hand showed us how to seduce your submissive with the rope... she knocked my socks off for sure... I had never seen anything like her or experienced anything like it... and Himself is damn good with the ropes... She just took it to a different level... I did not move or breathe hardly the whole timeshe was sceneing!
