A friends petrol lawnmower wouldn't start. Basically he bought it five years ago and has never serviced it, went quiet when I asked about topping the oil up. Why the fuck do people spend good money on things and not look after them? These models cost over £1500 to buy new. So one oil change, one new spark plug, and a quick fettle and he has a working mower. Luckily I had a spare filter and plug that fitted his mower - so yes I have several boxes of spare parts - most of which I will never find a use for

Help is always welcome, if you don't mind getting dirty.

On the plus side I have made a bit of money in the past, buying up "non-working" mowers, servicing them and reselling. All due to people with more money than sense.

Ppl are lazy..things have become replaceable instead of fixable and some just don't have the know how to fix stuff without starting a new box of spare parts

Mind getting dirty? I love it...in many ways
