Yep. I live just outside of Dallas in path of totality and a big park close to our town is expecting 10k people. There is also cloud cover in forecast.

Yeah I am not looking forward to all the people. Then of course we are set to start getting thunderstorms afterward.

I do remember a few Dallas thunderstorms.... Pretty darn serious. Got caught in a Dallas Fortworth airport shutdown once. Pretty intense

Oh yeah. They can be pretty intense. Seen many a cool lightning show on my back porch.

We Northern types don't see lightning like that often. I mean they shut down the entire airport all the ground crews went running for the concourses and got inside. They left us sitting in a airplane on the tarmac.

Will do, we used to make the drive from middle Tennessee to East Texas at least once a year. I’m done with all that driving BS

Yeah I used to drive back and forth from KS to DFW often..I roo am done with that fun.
But the drive from KS to TN isn't much better...
I'm gonna invest in a plane

I miss the DFW area. I used to live near Arlington from 92 till about 8 years ago. I don't miss the traffic though. I live down in SE Texas now. I will watch out for anyone driving any scary planes.... Hope everyone has an ok Monday.
