We've had the advantage of having a HHC nurse visit our home since Ron got out of the hospital in February. She's here for him of course but has checked both of us out for visible symptoms. Visits have been approved until June so we've got her for a few more weeks. VA has been great about providing care both in and out of the hospital.

That's good that she's checking on both of you. Some won't do that, just check on who's on the chart.
 
It is all pretty depressing if you ask me. I wish it would all just magically disappear, I know it's not but I wish.... Its just that it is everywhere, you cannot not think about it... Just sad, I guess...

She's been super. After she's finished with his appointments, I'm hoping her and her hubby will accept a dinner invitation somewhere. We'd like to remain friends with her.

That sounds fantastic!

All I've done for nurses during this time is purchase wine, bottled and boxed. My sister and our cousins are NOT that particular LOL
