In another month, I'll be actually working at the agency, reading applications and resumes, weeding out those without the proper education or work experience.

So you have 2 jobs now?. Sorry if I missed knowing what the agency is.

I've had two of them since the summer of 2012. I started at a computer consulting and technology temporary employment agency when my cousin and her then life partner (now wife) opened it in 2008 to help returning Afghanistan and Iraq war vets and their spouses find adequate employment.

In 2012, I went to work at a health insurance company as a consultant, to help them get their data base NY state insurance compliant and more customer/business friendly.

Technically, I am just a part-timer at the agency, but I do get paid to read resumes and do give initial interviews now and then.
