Hi Miss V and Mystical so nice to meet you. I have only been on the post for a month or so now. So I am still learning everyone!

Very nice tatts for sure. I keep thinking I want one but then I don't know if I want something that permanent on me. I get bored with things sometimes easily! But if I got anything it would feathers and a band around my ankle. I have always wanted an ankle bracelet but could never find one that would go around my big ankles even when I was little... oh well!

Jasmine... so sorry to hear you had surgery! I hope you are healing well. And if you live close to Ohio I will be more then happy to come up and help you! I have been in the same shoes as you and know what it is like to need help washing your hair. Almost two years ago I had a minor surgery to remove a lump from the back of my neck.. right at the hair line. It turned out to be nothing but they had to shave part of my hair right there so I wasn't allowed to wash it for a couple of days then I wasn't supposed to get it wet... lol Thank God for my parents.. the b/f I had at the time wasn't any help!! But we won't go there... that is one of the many reasons he is an EX!


Hope you all are having a great weeknd, and if you get a chance and need a good wholesome laugh go to the movies and watch Sweet Home Alabama.... I liked it a lot!

Thanks PM yes I have had the weekend off! I have been looking forward to it and I'm sure you will love the movie when you go to see it! And I have to find out who that man is!! He has the most beautiful blue eyes!! I usually am a sucker for dark eyes and hair but he definitely had a look about him that made me... well let's just say when they I was dreaming of what it would feel like. His lips were meant for ing!!! Ok that is all I will tell you about the movie! But damn I need to find me a man if nothing else just to give me a long deep wet satisfying


Ok Ok I have to get my mind out of the gutter now... lol I am getting ready for church!! Can't go in there with my mind in this frame!!! In fact looking at the time I need to hurry!

Jasmine, that is such a pretty tattoo! I want another one really really bad, but the one I want is really expensive and I doubt if I will ever be able to get it. My hubby went with me to get mine and said he thought he would have to tie me down for the guy to color it in, hehehe. Said he was sure I left finger marks in the counter I was sitting on, but I just don't do pain very well, hehehe.

Jasmine, beautiful tattoo Have to ask, does it hurt alot? I want one really badly, but afraid of the pain......plus, for you all with tattoo's, how did you decide finally on what you wanted? LOL one more question, where's the best place to have it, when you need to be able to hide it for work.....I would love one on my ankle, but can't see how to hide it when wearing a skirt.

*Restocking the bar with tequila (I hit it a little hard last night), hay and oats for the horse(behave and you will last longer than the last one), catnip, Godiva chocolates, and coffee* drop me a note if I forgot anything LOL

That is ok Mysti... I think we need a bar in here every now and then. Just as long as there is a steady stream of country music from the jukebox! But now the tequila or tekillya depends on how you pronounce it is off limits to me. Unless of course it is mixed in a margarita!!! But I am more of Jack and Pepsi kind of girl. An occasional beer is good too... bottle not cans

ohhh I only had 1 straigh tequila night and it ended up being a very very rough night and next day!! Tis the only time in my life I think I was ever that drunk!! Don't plan on it ever again!!

Ohh slipping a few quarters in the jukebox listening to a little bit of southern rock... Sweet Home Alabama going through my mind and of course Take It Easy by Travis Tritt. I would so love to go out to a good ole country bar. I have been to a few redneck bars, lol Felt just at home there!

Looking around... so who is going to dance with me tonight? Woody are you around yet??? Seeing that Tony and Gem are both on vacation.

Tattoos....

I always tell people "Of course it hurts!" But not as bad as you expect it to hurt. In fact, at first it was tickling and making me laugh.

But the pain isn't so bad that it is memorable. The day after I had my first tattoo I was planning my second.

You have to earn a tattoo. But it isn't hard.

Uuuuugh, you are bringing back a few memories for me Angel....I must say tho, Rum is the drink that did it to me. I got so sick off of rum one night, in 1981 to be exact, I can smell rum to this day and get the dry heaves. YUCK!!! lol, but it was a helluva weekend in Panama City Beach, FL!

I'm more of a heavy metal fan myself....I like AC/DC, Judas Priest and KISS. But I can sing along with the country stuff too. When ya start drinking beer, the country stuff has to be there so everyone can sing along. hehehe

Miss Victoria, You are so right about the pain. I must admit I don't remember the actual pain now, but at the time it did hurt like hell. But I'm here to say, if I can get a tattoo, ANYBODY can. I have a very low low low tolerance for pain.

i surfed the net for a good year .... found a few i liked.. one in particular i was very drawn to; but wasn't the one i chose in the end. which turned out to be a good move on my part LOL
i guess i looked at it as a rebirth.. when i turned 40.. things changed in most areas of my life--and i looked at it as a new part of my life opening up..a new "me"

as for where to get your tattoo applied.. i can't say.. although i think on the back of the shoulder is very sexy... actually last night i was watching a show on the Discovery channel ( if i remember correctly) about tattoos.. a woman had a double mastectomy (sp?) ten years earlier..so she had her chest inked... part of her healing process. it was beautiful.. vines and flowers all over....quite an amazing lady.

Hi Jasmine, hope you are feeling better every day, please be careful and don't bump that foot! The thought of that just makes me cringe! Huggggggs.

Ya know when I got my tatt, I worried a little bit about what everyone would think because I worked in an office at the time and it is very visible if I wear a skirt or dress. I was surprised at the tatts I started noticing.....several people in my office even came to me to show me theirs. I think if they are done in good taste, more people than you think admire them. JMHO
