How true ............. I love America !! We have to wait until the middle of October for Halloween stuff.
The Christmas stuff is coming out though, Ohhhhhhh, yes.
Christmas is no longer the Christian festival it was, like you say, it's an excuse for shops to wring your account dry.
The shops are open on Christmas day now, just in case you forgot to spend those last couple of dimes you were holding on to !!!!!

I'm doing Ok. I love the fall too ....... driving along the country lanes and seeing all the different colors in the hedgerows and trees.
Halloween is the 31st October here ........ that's miles away yet.

Yeah it's the same here too..end of october..but there's no law stating we can't put up decor early..pumpkins and fall decor don't just mean halloween..it says "hey it's time for fall"..LoL

I like looking at the colors of the trees, and leaves on the ground..very pretty indeed!!!

Yes Gem sweetie I am decorating for Halloween early... I have a toy party in the middle of October coming up so I have been trying to get my house in order for it. Sorry it is for ladies only and from the sounds of things I am going to have a full house!!! So I have been trying to get some of my things out early so I won't be waiting till the last minute.... Then in a couple of weeks I am going to be carving pumpkins!! I can't wait to try out my new disc (that has pumpkin patterns on it) I got this past summer!!

Now I hope that proves I haven't lost my mind.
