I'm doing grrrrrrrreat! <doing a really bad Tony the Tiger impression> Today is a very good day. I'm a bit of a "Martha Stewart (or is it Stuart?)" type and I started a new project today.

Sounds good, what kinda project??? U know, i don't care what people say about good ol martha, i like her..i'm not a crafty type of person..i think she's amazing..quite brilliant i'd say, i like her shows. So i'm sure u can whip up a few things to huh???

I'm making a quilt to donate to the local nursing home's benefit auction. Just went yesterday to pick out all my fabrics. It's been a long time (about 7 years) since I made a quilt, but I love doing it. Yeah, I've got all sorts of different craft things all over my house. Of course, I also have a craft room with a dozen unfinished projects, too! LOL I like Martha too. She's got some great ideas! But most of my crafts are more homey that what she does. I'm not nearly as chic as she. I'm just an Iowa farmgirl. *S*

I admire people that do crafts, yeah she's a bit luxrious for my liking, but she's still rad nonetheless..LoL U go girl, u keep making them crafts, maybe u need a catalog of ur things, so people can buy things from ya

LOL! I can just barely pick out a melody on the piano. I tried the trumpet when I was in elementary school (my older brother had played it and my mom wasn't going to buy a new instrument unless I was REALLY serious about playing), but gave it up after about a month. I sing, though.

It IS awesome to have my stuff sell! The first thing I ever sold was a set of crocheted kitchen stuff (potholders, dishcloths, towels) and I did a happy dance all over the place. My friends were ready to call the funny farm on me!

I know what you mean about the crafty stuff stores. They make such a killing on all that stuff! I sometimes go into them to get ideas, then go home and make it for waaaaay less! LOL

Yes i am, i started playing when i was 12, i play to this day..i took lessons from this woman that once played in the London Philharmonic and came to milwaukee because a friend of hers was teaching at the Conservatory here, and from there i became a cellist, studying 3 hours a day, i played in the Milwaukee Youth Chamber Orchestra as the 2nd chair cellist, i went to state and national competitons, I went to Milwaukee High School of the Arts where i earned 15 gold and 6 silvers. I own 2 cellos. I guess i was kinda serious about it huh??? LoL I love the cello, i love music.

Oh i know!!! i was like 25.00 for 2 wooden stools??? they were made real nice tho, and painted real nice too. I also like to go because those crafty stores always smell really good too!!! the candle section rocks!!! LoL I got a candle in a jam jar that smells like real grape!!! Dang...i need to go back and get some more..LoL
