I can certainly relate from both ends. Sometimes there's an attraction, and sometimes there's not. I appreciate a person letting me know that they aren't comfortable with going further with a relationship, but would like to be friends. I've got two great guy friends out of it. Later on (after about 3 months) one admitted that he wanted to "jump my bones" on my birthday. Left me a nice little phone message that I kept for a month for a giggle or two. The other has been a friend with benefits, if you know what I mean. And that only took 2 years
OK, enuf of my story there. Things will turn out for the best regardless. They happen for a reason, you know?

This is so true. In some of my pics I look nothing like I do IRL. I look worse. (I don't feel I'm photogenic in many aspects) But in other's I look great!!
It's always a double edged sword. It happens.
All you can do is move on. As I tell people I'm around, don't dwell. It keeps you in the past, and the past can't be changed, but the future can. It's all in your hands. (god I sound so hokey!)

Good Evening
Now that it seems I'm the only one still around, I get to post, then I get to try to find it tomorrow, IF i get the computer.
Anyway, it looks like I missed A LOT between Saturday/Sunday and today. This is why I don't like sharing!
It's only 9:12pm here in Nebraska. The storms are brewing out west, and I'm looking for a nice thunderous sleep tonight.
As far as women changing (Gil's post) I can relate to your concern. I stopped getting magazines because everyone looked so emaciated, and I look totally different in make-up and clothes than they do. I got Mode Mag for a while (like 5 years) and this past January they stopped publishing. I LOVED IT! They had models that I could see how I would look in an outfit. They even had women talking about how they liked certain things for their style and size. It was so nice!
If I could look like Emme or any of the plus sized models, I'd probably post a full pic of myself, but I'm not too impressed with myself lately. Been too tired, and too run-down looking. The 7th graders are killing me!
But this summer, get me a little sun, keep my skin regime going (I love my skin), and all that good stuff, and I'll come out of my shell.
As far as posting writing, I have the same dilemma. I do a little writing (I'm an English grad), but I don't feel that what I write is really up to par. I've hit the poetry forum here, and started one of my own threads. They are really good over there! They comment and applaud no matter how bad I think it is.
As you guys can tell, I'm very critical of myself, and I know I shouldn't be. I have friends tell me how great I am as much as they can. Sometimes I still don't believe it. So, I'm looking to re-bolster my self-confidence. This is helping A LOT!
I'm gonna have to see what happens. Meditate on it. Do some visual glamour (it's a spiritual thing for me). And go from there.
I can't wait until the end of the school year!!!

Hello and nite everyone at BBW,
I work an hour late, and everyone has left before I can even step out the door at work, much lest get in hear, then to see I have five pages of post to read.
Sorry Dreamy Doll, I guess I didn't understand it all the way before, thinks in puting it straight for me, maybe I can follow a line now?
W1, I see you have changed your AV back - I like them both, but I am more inclined to like the one based on you than a drawing.
Boy, all of these AVs changing, and I missed Jewelz's being changed, and back before I even knew it. I guess I have to check in every hour so I don't miss the ever changing AVs.
DD - the new AV is a bit dark for my taste, but it does fit you in some ways - not all, not by a long shot, but a mood or two.
Fiesty Red, glad to see you made it. Something you might want to do is turn on cookies for this site. Also, it is not the first time someone has did it, sure a lot of us have done it, and that is not log in, not realize it, and make a post, and it shows up as a guest.
I think I will turn in for the night in a little while - check out some other threads, and double back here before heading to bed.

Wow! Are you my twin? giggling...I totally identified with so much that you said! First...it's so much easier to write on here when no one's around cause you have time to think about what you write.
Second, I LOVED Mode magazine...totally shocked when they stopped publishing. Do you know what happened there?
Third...I always feel better in the summer the sun perks me up and makes me feel better about myself and the world
4th...I've been trying to write some lit stuff for so long now and I can never get anything ready to where I want the world to see it
5th...critical is a way of life for me. Do you think its something we can ever change? I dont know!
