Yes thanks :)

Managed to avoid the great british fuel crisis, then did a short day and left work at 1 - spent the afternoon in the sun and then took a stroll along the canal.

Evening, it's been a wonderful day of sunshine, hasn't it? Even if I could only look on at it from behind my desk until I got home... :(

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for at least one more day of sun for a bbq and some sun lounging. Apart from that, I'm letting the weekend take me where it wants to.

How about yourself?

Yeah the sun needs to stick around but then I thought it was meant to be gone a couple of days ago ,so hopeful it might stay around a bit longer (love a good BBQ although tend to feel sick at the sight of meat for the next few days after haha).

Not much planned though - going with the flow like you :)

Glad that you avoided that!!! Glad that you got to enjoy some time in the sun!!

Worked and came home and finished a book I was reading..

Thanks. Work always gets in the way of reading a good book but then I find I'm always part-way into a book and never near the end haha. Have you got the next one planned yet (that's the best part of finishing a book is wondering which one is next up)?

I am not sure what I will read next but I have a stack of books to pick through! :)

Nothing much - a little cooking and cleaning. The possibility exists for doing some yard work....or maybe just staying inside and reading, writing and sewing - we'll see.
