Canvas or cotton or something. Floppy brim. Ever see a Vietnam war movie? Soldiers wear 'em in the jungle. Mine's black. Not particularly stylish, but functional, and I've never won a beauty contest anyway.

I never understood the attraction to Twiggy, ( I'm dating myself here ) or Calista Flockhart, maybe to some Fashion designers, they can use less cloth to cover them , so it costs less, but I always enjoyed a voluptuous lady, Maybe becasue they are confident in their own bodies, not worrying about each one chip, and for the most part, seem to be a lot funnier, and more jovial in general.

From what I've been told by fashion design students I've tutored, most designer want skinny models on the runway, because they're just moving hangers, nothing more. If you see a model who's NOT terribly skinny, it means that the designer wants the media to see what his/her clothing would look like on ordinary sized women.

Curves have never been a detriment to me, meaning I love "traveling those roads which have the warning signs on."

I've always maintained a smile and a laugh makes everyone look so much better. I mean, the most beautiful girls (obviously each person has their own taste but beautiful to them) can look a whole lot worse if they're looking, well, a bit miserable or snarly and vice versa.

I guess if you're feeling confident you're more likely to smile and enjoy life, which is why it works. Easier said than done though when so many people are so keen to put others down all the time.

They can think whatever they like, but I like the idea of everyone living free lives and doing whatever they want as long as they don't hurt others. Seems an unecessary step over the line but glad you believe in yourself.
