Right here babe! I'm a proud BBW and yes we felt the aftershocks even here in NC. I like bigger women, but I find that a lot of them don't like bigger men. There's a strange double-standard (but then, when is there ever not a double-standard about something?).

1. I'm a size 12-14/M-L depending on the brand. I have hips and 36D boobs. Is that BBW? Curvy? Chunky? Thick? What am I? :)

2. Do well-toned/built guys like BBWs (or curvy girls) or do "thicker" men tend toward "thicker" women?

3. For men, what IS the appeal of bigger girls? I guess I say this because I feel so uncomfortable with my weight/size that I can't honestly imagine any guy looking at me like, "damn!" I hate the sight of myself ... and i wish i had 1/10th the confidence of any of the women here. I think i'd have a lot more fun if I did!

I guess i am just looking for information that might make me feel a little sexier, like, hey, maybe I am not so bad after all ... waahhh waahhh! sorry for the pity party!!

I'm no expert, but then again, who is? :)

So, here's my two cents:

1. Any, all, or none of the above....it depends on who you're talking to, and on how YOU like to think of yourself ;). BBW is a label that seems to be applied to all kinds of women, excluding the super-stick-thin, of course. I'm not sure what the "qualifications" would be for me, personally, even!

2. I'm somewhere in the middle, so I suppose I can't presume to speak for one group or the other (I like them though!)

3. For me, it's a few things. One is that the typical BBW is so refreshingly different from the "norm" of beauty (what a silly concept). It's nice to see a girl who looks "real". Another is the obvious: my extreme love/lust for BOOBS! :devil: . The other is something I've seen people here mention before, which is that soft and curvy are some of the definitive "feminine" characteristics, so curves have a way of catching the eye.

I think double-standard's a little harsh. Just because you're bigger doesn't mean you have no right to think of being with anyone less than your size. I know that's how society would have us (pair off all the big ones and let the really attractive people enjoy eachother) but it's wrong IMO.

I don't care what size a girl is (though curves are my thing), just want one or two of them to want me :)

1. As someone said, everyone has a different opinion. I've seen pictures of 'BBWs' where I've not really thought the lady particularly big and 14-16 doesn't seem all that big to me

2. I think it's more a case that everyone doesn't expect to see slim beautiful guys/girls with bigger girls/guys. Also, I think maybe the longer you go without the more you notice the good things in people you once might not have noticed before while you were lusting after society's perfect body. Sounds bad, but is my last hope so can't apologise for it :D

3. For me personally, the size doesn't matter. I like a pretty face/nice personality, cliched but true. Mind you I think there's something more appealing about being able to cuddle up to a girl with a bit of cushion and it feels more natural to me.

It's sad to read you hate your appearance. Actually, so do I (my appearance that is haha), but you shouldn't. Tough to do sometimes, but smiling is always the most attractive visual trait in a person IMO.

If you think you are a bbw...then you are. There's no numbers or anything you can put around it. I think it's more of an attitude than anything else.

And as far as what kind of men they attract....all kinds. Again everybody is different. I'm not a small man but I love larger women. Although I have seen many a skinny man with them as well.

As for the appeal....for me it's just the softness. I'd much rather snuggle with a big fluffy pillow than a broom stick... :D
