For some, there is nothing worse than being fat. They can have that opinion and there is no reason to take it personally.

I've had oodles and oodles of dates from dating sites. It's hard for me to imagine any chick not being able to and from what I've seen, you are much more attractive than I. Then again, I'm not looking for more than a date from the outset. I don't have a preconceived idea of a relationship I want - more I just enjoy meeting people and figure at some point I'll meet someone that I really click with. So going in looking for long term right off the bat seems to be a detriment and to increase your luck you might consider simply meeting people and having fun (I don't necessarily men sex) until you meet someone who rocks your socks. There are also sites like meetup where you can meet people who share the same interests.

I find a simple 'so, your point was?' can make people very uncomfortable and aware that they are actually being very rude about how they are speaking. I don't walk around wondering out loud if that person with a huge nose or ears that stick out will ever get a date. Its none of my business one way or another and really there might be much to recommend them.

I always say I'm an acquired taste, which this thread is proof of. You not everyone's taste, but those who you are, will enjoy your flavours for life lol.

I have to say, a few years ago, I was right there with you. It was either they didn't want to be "seen in public" with me, or they figured I was easy/desperate.
One of my favorite things that so called "big women lovers" do is quote that Sir-Mix-A-Lot song, Baby Got Back? When really, Mix-A-Lot was talking about "little in the middle, but she got much back." Big ass and boobies. Woo. -.-

I currently have a wonderful boyfriend, who has no problem with my fluffiness. At first, I was extremely apprehensive...still am at times... I'm his first, uh, Goddess of the Fluffy. The weekend's almost here, does anyone have something exciting planned? Anyone just going to sit in their house/apartment and just try to stay cool? Read any good books lately? Do you believe that the American short story is an artform that's on the decline, the rise, the same as 40 years ago?

No excitement, it's too bloody hot. We'll be sitting in the A/C & trying not to melt.
I'm currently reading Tina Fey's "Bossypants", & can honestly say it's the funniest book I've read in years. Laugh out loud funny, which causes strange looks in public.

I have a date, not sure how exciting it will be but ever hopeful.

Currently reading A Dance with Dragons.

I was going to say decline but I don't think that's really the case. It's not that there are less authors or less stories - it's more that is an unfunded, unpaid endeavor. Who is going to pay for a book of short stories when they have a plethora of short stories they can read on line for free. Sure, if it's well known authors and whatnot but someone starting out won't get far in the general population.

I agree. Unless one is Stephen King or JK Rowling, it is very difficult to have a collection of short stories published, & the magazines that used to run tons of short stories aren't around anymore.
Hate to say it, but it may be a dying art form, sadly...
 
I've only met two BBW lovers in my life, both on the internet, and even then I seemed to be out of luck, apparently I was too much awesome for them to handle. x3 I carry most of my weight in my belly, though the only thing that seems to enjoy that is my snugly little cat! It would certainly be nice to have someone human sleep and purr on my tummy besides my kitty. I do have a boyfriend, long distance though, he isn't a BBW lover. He loves me, but I know he'll never stroke my chubby areas in delight just to feel it give under his hands.

I have never met anyone in RL who is interested in a larger woman. I'm size 20 uk and find that it's hard to find someone even at this size.

I love bigger women, especially women with bellys lol! My wife is a size 24/26 and I've also played with a woman who was a size 30/32.

Big women have curves, squidgy bits and more that I can get hold of and play with :)

It's a real shame you haven't met any men who are honest enough to admit their attraction to a big, beautiful woman.

I'm proud to be married to one :)
