Happy Hump Day Afternoon!

Hope everyone's getting some humping done LoL :D;)

I love big girls, but the ones that I have dated never seemed to love themselves and could never really understand why I loved them and found them attractive. They've all been self-conscious, trying to diet... One even had her stomach tied. I've always tried to be supportive of them, and their desire to change and to (better?) themselves; but I've never really been happy about it. Probably makes me sound like a jerk; but I fell in love with them the way that they were, and here they were going out of their way to try and change one of the things that I loved about them. It would be one thing if it happened naturally, without effort (due to circumstances, or whatever) but it never did.

So I'd love to find a big girl who was comfortable with her weight, and didn't mind showing off a bit (for me at least, if nothing else). I'm very much a butt and belly guy, and I like them both big. There are few things that turn me on more, honestly. So the things that I'd do with a girl like that...

Okay got into a discussion the other day with a friend and maybe you guys can help me out here. What is up with the wide range of what is considered BBW. I mean I have seen pics and thought 'really? that's BBW?'

And also realized that no matter what I do, because I will never be smaller than a size 12/14 (thank you genetics for big boobs, hips, and ass!) I will always be considered BBW. I mean I could have rock hard abs and legs (okay stop laughing, it could happen!) but because of the width of my hips and the size of my boobs, because I somehow fit some arbitrary clothing size...

I guess I am beginning to wonder and question the labels we put on things and more specifically people. Why do we do it? and what criteria do we use?

What do you guys think?

You are a woman-shaped woman. We shouldn't have to give that a name like BBW, we should simply call you a lady. Stick figures with no va-va-voom can scramble for another name.

I understand why bigger woman must get frustrated by labels but everyone has and needs them. Labeling is not the issue it's the misunderstands and abuse that can happen because of it.

I myself adore woman many would label chubby. For me that's full ass, large chest round stomach but also a defined waist. Theres loads more other aspects but that's for somewhere else.
Now when I used to mess about loads of chubbyparade.com (left because i got addicted) a few times I referred to an incredible beauty as Chubby and got a cold and/or savage beat down because of the use of the word Chubby as an adoring compliment. On Chubbyparade!

For a goofy chatterbox like me labels a necessary minefield.

Mr. Rippley... I think I just fell in love. [laughs]

Just don't tell my husband, okay?

Not sayin' that I couldn't stand to lose a few pounds. Of course I'm not sayin' that I'm tryin'. [laughs]. I guess it is just disheartening to see what makes up plus size and BBW women. Than again, maybe it shouldn't be. Maybe we should embrace the wide variety that can be found within this 'label'.

For some, BBW are women who are tall (5'10), curvy with big boobs..

I've been called on here a "wanna be bbw"..by other women, because i'm not amazonian built..whatever.

I think name calling labels, or what catagory a woman feels like putting herself in is her decesion.

I think i'm more "rubenesque" "cherubic" than BBW, i'll even say i'm "plus sized" i'm 5ft..with a rounded tummy and "phatty ass" and nice size boobs..i'm not "BIG".

Regardless what i'm called by others, well, "whatev" at the end of the day i'm simply me. And i'm good with that. I define me.

And please explain, why "everyone has and needs" a label..

I didn't know i had that need..:confused::rolleyes:

Hey girl :rose:

My wife, my sister, my sister-in-law, have all been called wannabe BBWs as well. They are all under 5 ft 5 in tall, and most people believe that a woman has to be TALL in order to be a "true" bbw.

Rubenesque is the best description I've heard, but most don't understand where the term came from, let alone who Peter-Paul Ruben was. Zaftig/zoftig is another one.

Would I be labeled a "Chubby chaser"? A "Fat Fucker"? No one WANTS a label, but unfortunately, we all have them. Some of us have erroneous ones as well.

Hey girl :rose:

Hey you!!

Yeah see I guess that's what bugs me. Finally I decide to embrace me, decide okay this is who I am. And then I get told... "eh no.... you're 'curvy'" Or "Well you could maybe stand to lose a few pounds but I wouldn't say BBW exactly" OR I have the opposite extreme those who ditched me even as a friend at the mere that that I was not stick thin.

So the other night, when a friend and I were discussing plus size clothing (it starts at size 14 can you believe that? I know plenty of toned women who wear that size due to wide hips and big boobs. Hell I'm a DDD. Ain't no way I am ever gonna wear smaller than a XL shirt-- and that's a 14. And that's a t-shirt. God help me with tailored button downs.) Well it just struck me that BBW covers such a variety of body types. from apple to pear to square to triangle to hourglass. How can anyone really get a sense of what someone looks like when they loudly proclaim themselves as BBW?

It even made me go look at some of the threads here and I was shocked at the different body types. Has me scratching my head and wondering what people mean exactly when they say "I like/love BBWs"

So yeah, I think you have it right. I am just me. Take me or leave me. :D

Exactly. I'm me, if you like me, fine, if not that's fine too!

Idk what kind of people you talk to that tell you that you can stand to lose a few pounds..sounds to me that person could stand to lose a few teeth..

[laughs]

You know me I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. I would like to think they meant that while I was a little (my thinking-- a little?) overweight, I wasn't meeting the 'criteria' for BBW.

Eh... as you say... whatev. [laughs]

So if that's what they meant..why would losing weight then make you BBW:confused:

Maybe i'm just "slow" but that makes no sense to my "slow ass"..

What you up to this evening girl?

I might have to change my yahoo email..seems i'm having probs..
Keeps saying technical difficulties..i can't log in from my phone either..ivan can't access his..so we don't know wth is going on..:(

Glad you're alright!

I'm not up to much, just got off of a conf call, it's nice working from home, but these calls last an hour or so..blah blah blah..that's all i heard LoL

:)

LOL. Conference calls can do that to you. In theory they are a good idea, but if you go on for long the worlds start to mesh together into blah, blah like you said. Glad you have the opportunity to work from home. Anything on tap for this coming weekend?
