Sad reading people feeling unappreciated in public compared with behind closed doors. As a big guy I'm used to it and girls aren't really interested ever anyway but even worse when your own (ahem) friends act differently towards you in public - like they think their own chances with the girls will suffer if they're seen with you.
More often than not it's their hang-ups and lack of self-worth that are the problem and they don't look down on you; they're just afraid to show their pride in you.

This is one reason why I adore lit, supportive and uplifting people like all of you. Ive really been trying to work on having more confidence and more of a positive self-image but its super slow going. Being barely 27 (technically not that until friday) and already divorced from my only real relationship and single for two years since with only one date (yes TheLM im going to call it a date) its hard not to get down on oneself, BUT i am trying, honest
Confidence is hard to come by some days, I know. So is a positive self-image. Keep working on it though! I look at it this way... if I love myself as I am now, then I'll love myself at any size. I've met some women in my day who are beautiful, skinny, etc but can't appreciate who they are because they never learned to love their body and themselves with flaws. And I'm not saying we BBWs are flawed by any means. However when society sets standards a certain way, it can make it harder for those of us who don't meet those standards.
Oh goodness I am rambling and probably not making any sense. My whole point is you are quite beautiful and you should absolutely keep working on your self-image. The happier you are with you, the more your wonderful personality will show.
I've been reading the Boards for a while now and this has caught my eye.
I know many large Ladies and they are wonderful friends, good people, fun people, great lovers, intelligent and caring. I love large gals and think they are simply beautiful!
No one has the right to judge anyone based on size or anything else.
