BBW=Big Tits?

As a Literotica author of a few stories featuring women with large breasts (c.f. Incubus), a little while ago I received a response from a lady who took me took me to task about using the term 'BBW' to refer to women who are so (gloriously) endowed. The thrust (so to speak) of her argument seemed to be that Big Beautiful Women does not necessarily mean big-breasted. While this is pretty obvious, the two things - terms, I mean! - do often go together, certainly in the male mind.

I wondered what others thought about this subject.

I think it is about 'overall' size and not just the breastus.

But not size in the 'muscular' sense either, that's an altogether different thing.

I'm a 36DD and I don't consider myself a BBW. You can have big tits and be thin as a rail or be fuller figured and flat as a board. The term "BBW," to me, means a fuller figure all the way around and has less to do with the breasts and more to do with the entire body.

I think applebiter sums it up, BBW to me means a woamn who is big all over. Not just a lady with big boobs or a big bum or big thighs, but all those things. And to be honest, it;s difficult to decide what big actually is. I'm a BBW, well in my mind I am, and I'm generous all over

BBW is, to my mind, applied wto full figured women. Bust size is not really an intregal part of the definition to me. Granted that full figured gals generally have a good deal up top, but that isn't always the case. Additionally, some women have been blessed (or cursed) by the titty fairy and may have a slim or even skinny overall build.

I think, however, that BBW is something applied by guys (and gals) to a body type that they find attractive. That body type is what they find beautiful, not neccessarily zeroing in on any particular aspect, but as an overall attraction.

Wow! I didn't expect such an immediate response. Mea culpa. I will never refer to BBWs again without qualifying it.

I simply love big beatiful women, and if they have beautifully big boobs, so much the better.

I agree with Colleen, Sweetpee and EL,

Even from a male point of view, BBW is an entire package.
My wife is a BBW who happens to be very generously endowed, but from being a life long GW, I know that is certainly not always the case. Being well endowed does not make you a BBW. Many years ago I knew a moman at work, who was hugely endowed. She was however about 4'8". She probably weighed 80 pounds wet and 30 were in her chest. She was in no way a BBW.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. BBW and slender reeds can be equally enticing as well as generously or completely absent in the endowment catagory. Every thing in between works too.
