Not sure how many on here that are from Canada get SRC (The french CBC) but if you tune in right now they are showing a hockey classic.. the Montreal Canadiens vs Quebec Nordiques.
Best I can tell, it's a game from the mid 80's... Steve penny is in net for Les Habs ... The list of players being watched is amazing especialy on Montreal's side.. Robinson, Gainey, Lafluer, Bobby Smith, a very young Chris Chelios..
The Nords had some talent as well.. Mario Marois, Dale Hunter, Michle Goulet, the Stansny brothers.
And a brawl at the end of the second period.. Featuring Chris Nilan and about ten players on each side going at it!
I can totally look past the french commentary to sit down and enjoy the rest of the game
