Among all the bad news some folks are rising up and taking care of their neighbors and people who are suffering. There are some mighty good folks out in the world!

I remember being in a Spencer Gifts (remember those?) at a mall as a teenager when the lights went out. Manager demanded everyone to turn their pockets inside out and exit the store immediately.

Lol...had that been me at that Spencers I would have had some splaining to do to that manager...chuckles.

That was always a destination for trouble and debauchery.

What I've noticed in shopping this past week:

1. The major grocery chains have milk but no eggs.
2. The major Hispanic grocery chains have eggs but no milk
3. Nobody has any bread anywhere
4. Nobody has bottled water anywhere
5. Every chain has toilet paper, probably because people can't flush their toilets
6. There was a line a half-mile long at the little kiosk that refills those water cooler sized jugs
