I Thank ye.. Kamelin Picks up Kao and moves over to the base of a tall oak and lays him there, she picks up her brothers pack and lays it next to him. let us begin.
we can ither use our hands or if you like i can return to the cave not far from here i think mayhap my brother and i had a shuvel or two. as well as some rope and any other items we may need. i have a full pouch of herbs here and my staff. i know this is asking much but it may come in handy i appoligise for the delay...
Ariel didn't say anything as Kamelin left for the cave. She just stood there as memories rushed through her head. Seeing the death of her family over and over. She had felt so helpless then. And she vowed if she had a choice she would not let another being experience the pain she had. Of course that had been a foolish promise for she couldn't protect the world from that pain and yet as she stared down at Kao she couldn't help feeling guilty. It was a feeling that just would not leave her be.
as Kamelin was returning from the cave feeling the wind on her face and in her hair gave her some time to breath. she knew she would greve but now was not the time. as Kamelin decended she could see the elf and the human talking she knew their names but at the moment their names escaped her all she new was a desire for revenge and to stop Morgoth.("here i have the shuvels and the rope there was not much left their we could have used save a spair pack with an extra cloke or two." Kamelin stoped talking when she noticed she had starled here two new companions she had forgotten they were not used to flying elves."come let us get this done and be gone from here."
Her brother now burried. Kamelin turned to the human and elf." I am sorry for delaying you. turning to the human she said" i know i agravated you and for that i am sorry forgive me i just couldnt leave him like that he was all i had left". Not wating for an awncer she turned away from the human and elf Gathering up the shuvels and the rest of her tools, herbs ect... she sholdered her pack, picked up her staff, turned back to them and said" we may go now their is nothing left for me here.Understand this is as far as i know there are no more of my kind. if there are... they will not accept me for i know nothing of their laws or ways, my brother found me as a child abandond for reasions i know not. he had been cast out and would not tell me why.
there are manny things i do not know and i ask you to teach me and i ask for patients and understanding, for i have only begun to learn.
"Okay, but can we MOVE?! Morgoth has broken free, the Trees of Vala leached of Life, the Valar themselves too scared to face their better, and we stand here! It's very sad and bad and all that your brother died, but millions more will unless we get to the Thousand Caves!" shouted Arthron.
Kamelin said not a word and flew into the air following the human and elf. kamelin had never known anyone but her brother and had not much experance with impatince but she new also that she had held them back long enough and that for now she would do as they asked.
"Uhm. We're going into a huge forest. It's so thick you can't see the ground. You might want to get to the ground?" asked Arthron impatiently, still running.
Kamelin laughed to her self could she do nothing right to stop agravating this human, she wondered if humans were like this all the time. the elf just seemed to watch her and the human so she landed not saying a word and followed.
"Thank you, God", sighed Arthron in exasperation, keeping a steady pace. Pretty soon he nearly collided with a ale elf bearing a large spear. "Hold! Hold!" exclaimed Arthron, a joyous yet grim look on his face. "We have urgent news for King Thingol and Queen Melian. Behold, I once saved Lord Beren's life in battle!" said Arthron excitedly, pulling free an ornate ring. The elf nodded and began to lead them through the woods.
Ariel watched at the elf began leading them. She looked around the forest awed by it beauty. She then looked to the human wondering who he really was. He had saved the Lord Beren's life before. What battle? Confused yet content for the time being Ariel followed the elf.
About two hours later they had arrived at the Thousand Caves. Thingol stood up to greet them, his fair eyes alight. "Who art thou?" he asked of them. "I am Arthron, proud to call myself friend of Lord Beren. This is Diana, whose village was butchered by the forces of the Prince of Hell, and this is Kamelin, whose brother was killed by forces of Morgoth. As you can see, My Lord, I once saved Lord Beren's life at Ninin Unothradin, Unnumbered Tears, and he gave me this ring as a token of grattitude. But we have terrible and grim news for your and Queen Melian's ears only", spoke Arthron. Thingol consulted with his wife, and dismissed all from the room but them. "Speak", he ordered. "The Black Enemy has returned! We saw his sign from the North and I heard the hundred dragons shriek his warcry. I saw the flames of Angband shoot into the sky, and they continued to replenish themselves. The sky there went black, and we decided to come to you", said Arthron. Thingol choked for a second, then went away for a few minutes with Queen Melian. They came back, and King Thngol collapsed in his chair. He called the court back in and told them the dark news. He then called Arthron and the others to him, as well as 2 messengers.
Kamelin did only as she was told by the human and elf, for this was a strange place to her and she was not used to so manny people. so she watched wated and stayed close to her companions. thou she wished she new more about them.
Arthron and the others reached Thingol's throne, and he sighed. "You speak the truth. Morgoth has returned, and tooken many new recruits with him. Also, blasphemy has happened. The Noldoi elves have killed many of the seafolk elves in order to get their boats, and now set sail here!" he exclaimed. He then motioned for the messengers. "Travel to Beren. Call him, and ask of Luthien. You", he motioned for the other, "go to Turin, he is in Nargorthrond, and bring him here", said Thingol wearily, and both messengers sped off. "Well, good sir and madaams, what shall your requests of me be?" he asked.
Kamelin looked over at her human companion and then looked away she did not want him to see the blush that came to her face, as she continued to sit and listen to what was being said.
Ariel looked at the king not sure what to say so she left the talking up to Athron. When he was done she looked at the king "I to ask nothing more then to be of service any way that I can. My family was murdered by the butcher and I will do anything in my power to see justice done"
"Yes. The bastard burned my village", said Arthron. "Well, the best thing for us to do right now is to wait. He will unleash his forces soon enough. He never was very patient. Although, we can send a few people to kill orcs that wander astray and his scouts", said Thingol. "I will go with those few to kill his scouts", said Arthron.
