If i was one of the people involved officially in any of it, I'd be continuously shitting my pants right about now.
BUT, to my mind, the biggest question isn't whether those people will be brought to light (punished is a different thing) but whether the "system" which allowed this to occur should be allowed to continue to operate at all.
The "checks and balances" to prevent just this type of abuse didn't work. Since they didn't work in this instance, that also begs the extended question as to whether those "checks and balances" are working in other areas - namely are warrants issued by the public courts being correctly scrutinized by the judges who sign off on them? Are government investigators and prosecutors misusing their powers to harm innocents? HOW MUCH of our justice system is rigged against the people ensnared by it?
