Coming just a day after Judge Randolph Moss denied an attempt by the Justice Department to dismiss a lawsuit from former deputy director Andrew McCabe, Attorney General William Barr just had two decisions handed back to him with clear signals that his efforts to deride and dismiss everyone who stood up to Trump are not going to fly in court.
Judge Jackson took the time to not only go through the government’s claims in detail but to carefully explain why she was not going to dismiss the suit.

...

Like McCabe, Strzok and Page didn’t exactly win anything on Friday, other than the right to carry on with their lawsuits. But the way in which.. Barr’s case was dismissed by both judges shows that how he runs the DOJ mirrors his own personal statements: sloppy, arrogant, and legally indefensible.

I can only imagine that somebody has dirt on Barr considering how he has conducted himself as the AG.

He's a disgrace.

Trump and his enablers of evil, facilitators of fuckery

Stepping stones that led to nope-

The silliness, and weirdness of Devin Nunes jumping out of an Uber and running away, into
the dark of night...

The other thing that emerged was how Nunes had learned about this unmasking.
When he got out of that Uber, he went to the Eisenhower Executive Office Building
within the White House complex. Multiple White House officials orchestrated his visit,
during which he was shown classified information about unmasked surveillance.

From early on in the Trump administration, some GOP lawmakers have sought to
investigate and highlight Obama-era unmasking requests, believing them to be
inappropriate. The effort was initially pushed in part by Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.),
though the House Intelligence Committee he chaired at the time also asked U.S.
spy agencies to reveal the names of U.S. individuals or organizations contained
in classified intelligence on Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Nunes’s allegation gave weight to an argument that Trump had been making for weeks, after
the (Presiderp) spontaneously alleged on Twitter one Saturday morning that (real) President
Barack Obama had tapped the phones in Trump Tower. That claim wasn’t true, as
intelligence officials later testified under oath. So the argument morphed into one
about how the intelligence community had instead improperly focused on Trump
staffers in their surveillance, an argument bolstered by Nunes’s sudden announcement.

The odd story of The Memo

Republicans have been touting this memo as the blockbuster that will bring the entire
Russia investigation crashing down.

In a secretly recorded tape at a fund-raiser, California Republican Devin Nunes told the truth
to a group of Republican donors.

Nunes' words made clear that the House's investigation has been a charade designed
to protect Trump rather than to reveal the truth

Bill Barr's facilitator escaped from the stench, before the container collapsed.
