He also said that Trump lies "to win whatever exchange he [is] having at the moment," according to the outlet.

can't be much clearer than that this was premeditated and trump was fully aware... not only aware, but the central point of the whole affair.

bannon's saying that if it's going against him trump will declare himself a winner in order to create chaos and get his case to remain as president in front of the House of Representatives who will confirm him as still president.

but, J, this recording comes from the 'war room' (a set of suites in the willard hotel) set up by trump and his crew to plan their route of keeping him in power. These were trump's plans, intended to be executed.
