I was recently banned from chat while I was in a PRIVATE room with ONE person, I am trying to find out how to be reinstated, I really enjoy this site, any help would be appreciated..thank you...

PS I did not insult or threaten anyone, on the contrary I was really enjoying myself.

This seems to have happened to many people recently, so there's likely a problem with the system. I don't think there's much else you can do beyond contacting the chat monitors, though given the lack of response, perhaps a PM to Manu is in order. Sorry that's not very helpful!

Indeed, and it appears that in at least some cases it's due to a glitch - things get stacked up and then all arrive at once in what appears to be an attempt to flood the server with excess traffic, through no fault of the person doing the sending. Vexing, to say the least, but we do see this question enough to say it's likely something automated which triggers the "ban" decision.

So, patience contacting chat monitors or the site admins is definitely indicated.

Meantime, you're signed up, so try posting in the forums awhile. Under the "word to the wise" heading: if you enjoy one-on-one you might avoid the jungle we call the General Board. Your call, but not everybody thrives there.

Thanks for the replies, I appreciate your concern, I miss chatting on here badly,, lol...I HAVE contacted the site three times with no reponse, like I said I was in a private room, just me and another person, I feel bad because I would never have done something to ruin it,lol...I guess I'll just wait it out.......

try going to the chat log in page and contact a chat monitor from there.. there is a link to contact them.. explain what happend and they can probably help
