ban comments

I have an reader who stalks me and constantly leaves really nasty comments - on 61 stories written he has commented on about a 3rd of my stories. Always nasty, always negative. I allow comments because i think it is fair, but really do I need to put up with this? I have written and asked him to move on - that just encouraged him. I have 5 million plus readers so his comments don't upset me - since he does not write himself - but he is fucking annoying at this point. Can i ban him somehow and still allow others to comment?

I could see a feature on this web site that bans comments but still allows voting.

You can delete individual comments manually. If you select the Comment icon in the My Stories list, it looks like this:

You can also disallow all comments on any story of yours, all voting, or both.

You can also report comments as abusive or otherwise bad. You can do this on your story or other peoples'. There's no guarantee this will result in action by the site, but it's possible.

But you can't ban one individual commenter from commenting preemptively, sorry.

I see you've done some Loving Wives stories. Out of curiosity, did it start there? That category and its readership is kind of infamous on the Authors Hangout, sorry. There have been a ton of discussions about it if you're curious.
