Like the 'Dean Scream'; the McCain gaff, in my not so humble opinion, eliminates McCain from the 2008 Republican Presidential contenders.

Giuliani is too much a social liberal to attract mainstream Republicans.

This should facilitate the entry of Sen. Fred Thompson to fill the vacuum.

Curious, eh?

Is it just me or is McCain actually seeming to do everything in his power to not get elected?

*snort* It's not him, it's that damned Straight Talk bus!

Ok, what did I miss? This sounds like too good TV to pass me by.

Mc Cain was done months ago. He lost his base. Giuliani has only a chance. Once either Thompson or Gingrich gets into the race we'll see how many jump ship on him. I would bet he can't make it with either of them in the race.

Anyone but me cringe?

He's no worse than what's-his-name rapping not too long ago.

Our leadership is made up of clowns and idiots. We're doomed.

Not necessarily clowns and idiots (although so many are), but just people so focused on making the soundbyte or video clip that will make them first on the evening news that they forget everything else.

If only we could move past soundbytes and on to real issues :(

He used to be cool....now, I think that he has gone senile or something. He's past it.

Thompson's okay...for a man who went on TV and in character claimed that there is no constitutional right to privacy. Never heard of the 9th Amendment, apparently. But then that goes in with the 10th Amendment....frequently ignored when inconvenient.
