Ted Cruz did not disclose a loan from Goldman Sachs that was used for his Senate campaign, a Times investigation finds
Wednesday, January 13, 2016 6:47 PM EST

A loan from Goldman Sachs helped Senator Ted Cruz pump more than $1 million into his successful Senate bid in Texas. But that loan was not disclosed in campaign finance reports.

Can a cuban, born in Canada who lies about campaign finance be a credible candidate for President?

I really do not think so.

Yeah, same here.

At risk of troll-feeding: Constitution defines citizenship. Congress legislates citizenship. Currently AFAIK anyone 1) born on USA soil, or 2) having at least one USA citizen parent, or 3) going through the naturalization process, is a citizen. If the only options are to be natural-born or naturalized, then 1) and 2) are both natural-born, and thus eligible to run for USA President and VP. Hey there, Mr Cruz!

USA could still have non-natural-born Presidents via succession. An Algerian woman could (theoretically) become Speaker of the House. If the Prez and VP get snuffed, she's in.

Side note: Constitution says Prez and VP candidates must from different states. Bush and Cheney flouted that; they were both Texans. Naughty, naughty.

When Cruz ran for Prime Minister of Canada, he lost because he was from Calgary.

sorta funny how THIS is an issue

and no issue of teh SIX BILLION missing from State when CuntClinton was there and all teh other money BS that went on

you know it's a good thread when the first ten posts are two douchebags acting like seven year olds.

Just the fact that he has been to Canada makes him 10 times more credible than any of the rest of them...being born there should make him automatically elected.

Some Americans are born to two American citizen parents, on American soil - can't get more natural than that. That's why it's called "natural born".

Any instance other than natural born is no more than legally born, and any bozo who champions that legally born can ever equate to naturally born quite obviously believes natural born is susceptible to full, legal interpretation and subjective enactment just as legally born is - thus, practically dissolving the purposeful constitutional difference between natural born citizen and citizen.

It's really hardly any different progressive mindmash than the American natural right to keep and bear arms being unconstitutionally, progressively bastardized into nothing more than a legality, swayed by majority/popular opinion of a simpleton mob.

And, once more, at base for both unicorn-fueled attempts is simply wormfood man trying his wannabe hardest to be somebody, to really, really be somebody, knowing his existence isn't even a pimple on an ant's ass to time, while holding nothing more to believe in but his own wormfood self.

what are you ranting about now?:confused::confused:

So it turns out to be a margin loan

He borrowed money from himself

That's bad

Billions lost, crony deals, and bribery? Yawn

Just as long as you got curtsying to your Queen down and America is your southern neighbor, so you don't have to spend even as much to defend your own nation as friggin' Italy does to defend itself, you need not trouble yourself with anything else, canuck.

I can see us having to build a fence to keep you fuckers out:D
