Bad Influence (Closed)
~ Closed for myself and AndreaSubbie ~
Dylan watched as his son Derek came home with one of his friends. The girl, the bookworm. He really didn't approve of the friendship in the least. In the beginning he had hoped that his initial impression of the girl had been wrong, that she was the type of girl he felt his son should be hanging around with. But those hopes were quickly dashed. She wasn't putting the bookworm facade on as a joke, that was who she actually was. Shy, naive, and entirely uninterested in his son as a sexual partner or in his... or rather Dylan's money.
His next hope was that her spending time with Derek would be a good influence on her, push her towards the kind of woman that Derek deserved. But even that hadn't happened. If anything, it was almost the other way. Derek didn't seem to mind that his friend wasn't spreading her legs trying to get him to buy her pretty things. Or just because she wanted to. If anything, she was a bad influence on his son, and that was something that he wasn't going to stand for.
It was time someone told her what her place was. Why Derek kept her around, and what he really wanted. And if Derek wouldn't do it himself, that meant Dylan had to.
