Bad idea, or not?

So my [not pirate themed] sequel to Coleoidphilia is well and truly underway. So far:

1. A full outline of the plot (caveat it will probably change along the way, they normally do)
2. 9k words written across 7 chapters
3. Three sex scenes to date (sort of four as one has some plot development in the middle)
4. Lots of clean, wholesome tentacle fun, BDSM, plus more regular sex (including lesbian, with more of this to cum)
5. The same mixture as before of semi-erect Sci-Fi, pop-culture references, fourth wall breaking and a soupçon of both science and philosophy
6. Plus sex, did I mention the sex?

As I currently envisage the story, I’m not half way through as yet, so it could end up being my longest work (currently Fishing Trip at just under 20k words).

TBH, it’s going better than I feared. Always difficult with sequels to have something new to say, while still honoring the previous work. Hopefully I’m managing just that. I’m actually enjoying it again.

I’m now thinking about this being a trilogy. So this is the The Empire Strikes Back episode. Only amorphous ideas about part three at present.

Plan A is to publish as part of Geek Pride. So you might not see anything until May, assuming my patience doesn’t give out before then. I’m already chomping at the ball-gag about my completed On The Job story.

Oh - and re-reading it, it’s got some k-dramaesque elements too . It’ll have a supporting female character of Korean descent. If I really want the full k-drama vibe, I’ll need some supporting male characters who are prettier than the girls.
